TSSI (now CA) Arlington, Virginia Consultant 1/1997 - 3/1998	Designed, composed, and deployed Crystal Reports for the Energy and Production department at The Eastern Group in Alexandria, Virginia. Distribution mechanisms included an older Delphi-based Executive Information System (Eis32) and current intranet and internet development using Crystal Info and the Crystal Web Engine on Internet Information Server and Windows NT Server 4.0. Weekend and after-hours project: designed and implemented Greenhouse Books' web site.
I-NET (now Wang) Bethesda, Maryland Senior Programmer 2/1996 - 1/1997	Designed and developed client-server applications for I-NET (now Wang) to support management of the Consolidated Natural Gas help desks. Wrote main Visual Basic application, CNG WorkLoad Manager, a multifunction monitoring and analysis tool with Crystal Reports, for CNG's SQL Server help desk database running on Windows NT. Developed batch processing applications in Microsoft Access for reporting CNG Service Level Activities from the DP Umbrella database. Scripted benchmarks for Informix Online on a Sun multiprocessor workstation running under Solaris.
I-NET (now Wang) Bethesda, Maryland Senior Programmer 10/1995 - 1/1996	Supported US Geological Society in Reston, Virginia. Maintained USGS Time and Attendance (TNA) application developed by I-NET using JAM 5. Assisted porting TNA from character mode DOS/Netware/Sybase to Unix/Xwindows/Ingres.
I-NET (now Wang) Bethesda, Maryland Senior Programmer 9/1995 - 10/1995	Supported the National Library Service Production Information and Control System (NLS/PICS) at the National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped (NLSBPH), a part of the Library of Congress. Responsible for design, development and testing of an integrated information system, based on the system requirements for NLS/PICS, which supported the functions and responsibilities of NLS production control requirements. Responsible for maintaining the databases and structure (Informix and SQL) and application management software (JAM and Informix).
ManTech Corp. Fairfax, Virginia Programmer 3/1993 - 9/1995	Supported the National Library Service Production Information and Control System (NLS/PICS) at the Library of Congress, National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped (NLSBPH). Responsible for design, development and testing of an integrated information system, based on the system requirements for NLS/PICS, which supported the functions and responsibilities of NLS production control requirements. Responsible for streamlining the existing methods of operation through the design of appropriate databases and structure (Informix and SQL). Replaced outmoded database management software and procedures (S2K and batch processing) with application management software (JAM and Informix). Constructed forms and queries to extract, organize, and store data in the PICS database tables. Designed and implemented reports and batch processing using ESQL/C. Redesigned application software (Hybrid PC/MIS) and user interfaces (CICS), gaining maximum cost benefits by leaving the mainframe computer environment and utilizing a multi-user microcomputer, a multi-processor Altos 15000 (i486) for implementation of the system requirements.
